T-Schools award winners 2019 felicitated

T-schools conference and awards held at New Delhi, T-school award winners were selected among the 150 top colleges of India.

T-Schools Award winners

The T-School Award winners 2019 were felicitated at T-Schools Conference and Awards 2019, at the Eros Hotel, New Delhi, on July 19, 2019. The awards were categorized in two parts -- Top Government and Top Private Colleges. The winners were selected on the basis of four Pace parameters- Placement, Academic, Campus, and Engagement, and Region-based ranking.

Here is the top winners list of T-School Awards 2019.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, topped in the Top Government College in India, ranking 3rd in Placement, 1st in East Region, 3rd in Campus and 1st in Engagement category, followed by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, which ranked 2nd in Top Government college. Also, NIT ranked 1st in Campus and 2nd in East Region. The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad stood 3rd in Top Government Colleges, and came 1st in the South region.

Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Delhi, was ranked 4th in Top Government College, and also came, 1st in placement, 2nd in Academic, and 1st in North Region.

Dr. M.P.S. Bhatia, Professor, Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Delhi, received the award for Netaji Subhas University of Technology. He was one of the panelists for the Panel Discussion: Collaborating for Infra - How to leverage ICT to transform infra in engineering Colleges.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka was ranked 5th in Top Government College, and, 2nd in the South region. College of Engineering, Pune was ranked 3rd in the West region. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology was ranked 2nd in the North Region.

The top private colleges were also awarded at the event. The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, was ranked 1st in top private colleges in India, followed by Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, ranking 2nd in top private college, 3rd top college in academics, and 3rd in South region.

S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai was ranked 3rd in top private colleges. Dr. Ganesh K, Director - Placement & Training, Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), Office of Alumni Relations, B.S. A. Crescent Institute of Science & Technology (Deemed to be University) received the award.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering, Pune, was also ranked 3rd in the top private colleges. Dr. Anand Bhalerao, Dean, Faculty of Inter Disciplinary Studies, received this award at the event. Dr. Ganesh and Dr. Bhalerao were also the panelists for this event.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai was ranked 4th in the top private colleges, followed by the Army Institute of Technology, Pune. Brig Abhay A. Bhatt (Retd), Director, and Prof. Manoj S Kaladkar, M.E. Training & Placement Officer, AIT Pune, received the award.  They were also the panelists at: The Tech Advantage - The Power of online, social & emerging tech for enhancing reach, quality, affordability, and speed.

Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai was ranked 2nd in engagement in the top private colleges category. Prof. Dr. V. S. S. Kumar, Vice Chancellor, received this award at the event. Prof. Dr. Kumar was one of the panelists in a panel: Collaborating for Curriculum - How academia, industry and employers together can transform education quality.

Chitkara Institute of Technology was awarded with the Excellence in Innovation in Tech Education, Cavita Taragi, Pro Vice Chancellor, received this award.

Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Technology, also was awarded with the Excellence in Innovation in Tech Education, Brig. S.K. Kakkar, Director, received this award.

Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Haryana, won the award for Excellence in Innovation in Tech Education. Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, Honourable Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. S.N. Sridhara, Professor and Director, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, received the award at this event.

Shri Ram Institute of Technology was received the award for Excellence in Innovation in Tech Education. Ramendra Karsoliya, Vice Chairman, Shriram Group, Jabalpur, received this award.
