Marketing pact with IBM Managed to retain major customers despite poor financial performance

Despite a JV with IBM, and bagging customers like Dell for its online sales,
Selectica India went down by 6.6% to clock Rs 21-crore sales this fiscal. The
company collaborated with IBM for its sales, marketing, and support of its own
interactive solution on the Linux platform. Though it made a good start with Rs
24 crore and 300% growth in 2000-01, its sales have been falling consecutively
over the past two years.
