SAP Labs India To Create 15,000 Jobs through New Campus

SAP Labs has officially commenced the construction of its second campus in Devanahalli, Bangalore. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Sindhu Gangadharan, managing director and senior vice president of SAP Labs India, Mohammed Anzy, chief operating officer of SAP Labs India, and Roshan Gowda, regional head of global real estate and facilities for APJ and Greater China at SAP.

Sindhu Gangadharan, MD and SVP of SAP Labs India, led the event, marking the beginning of the development of the new campus. Spanning 41.07 acres, the campus aims to accommodate up to 15,000 individuals.

During the ceremony, Sindhu Gangadharan expressed her enthusiasm, stating: "As SAP Labs India celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year, we are deepening our investments in India with the construction of a new 41-acre campus that will generate 15,000 job opportunities in Bangalore. This Devanahalli campus exemplifies SAP's commitment to minimizing environmental impact, operating as a Net Zero, Water Positive, and Carbon Neutral facility. Moreover, we prioritize employee wellness and inclusivity, aiming to create a remarkable experience for our people at SAP's new campus. We are delighted to commence the construction and eagerly anticipate enhancing the SAP experience for our employees. The first phase of the campus is expected to be operational by 2025."

SAP's partnership with Karnataka spans over 25 years, and the company's largest global research and development hub is located in Bangalore. The new campus further solidifies SAP's dedication to India and Karnataka, as they contribute to 40% of SAP's global R&D efforts. Sindhu Gangadharan expressed her gratitude, saying, "We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our customers, partners, and friends in the ecosystem for their unwavering support to SAP."
