Projects worth Rs 20 crore bagged in plant design automation Rs 30 crore worth of GIS projects bagged

Revenues fell 20% this year with Rolta India grossing a total of Rs 306 crore.
The fall in revenues was worse in the domestic market–short by nearly Rs 70
crore compared to the year before. Rolta initiated business, infrastructural,
financial and managerial restructuring for accelerating its future growth. The
company is taking steps that should be completed within the next three-four
months. On the positive side, the company successfully completed a series of
projects worth Rs 20 crore for overseas firms min the area of plant design
automation and mechanical CAD/CAM. These included a variety of solutions and
services provided to process, power and offshore companies including
owner/operators and EPC organizations. It launched a family of Linux-based
security and messaging products for corporate networks as well.
