After revenue losses in two consecutive fiscals due to slowdown in the global
GIS market, the company bounced back in the last fiscal and registered a topline
growth of 7%. RMSI's recovery evidently did wonders to employee morale, who gave
very high satisfaction ratings to the company.

The Noida-based subsidiary of RMSI scored high on retention. It was a vote of
employee confidence for RMSI. Its performance across all employee satisfaction
parameters was extremely consistent. Employees, who participated in the survey,
expressed high satisfaction on issues like flexibility of work hours, career
growth opportunity and development, and company culture.

The company's job design and content bode well, with most employees
expressing satisfaction and carrying a sense of pride, passion and excitement
towards their work profile. Another parameter that found high favor with RMSI's
employees is its appraisal process, which they felt was extremely transparent,
methodical, and fair.

Interestingly, most employees highlighted two reasons why they would want to
quit the organization-career growth and opportunity, and compensation. While the
company seems to be taking good care of the former, compensation could be a
reason for concern in the coming years.

The company's internal branding has also risen considerably. After its
abysmal performance last year, when only 28% of the employees voted it as their
preferred employer, the share increased this year to 44%.

The correlation between the overall satisfaction in job design and content
and growth opportunity, and organization is evident with over 54% of the
employees giving their vote in favor of RMSI.
