RMSI offers GIS and spatial solutions and application software development services and has technical collaborations with Geographical Data Technology and Birla Technical Services among others. In spite a good second quarter, accounting for 37% of the year's revenues, the year was not so good because of the slow international GIS market. 54% of the exports were to the US and 39% to Europe. RMSI and their consortium partners Landmark Government won the AGI central government award on their 'Wales Information System for agricultural and rural data' project.
