Wipro Q4 Net Up 3%

IT major Wipro has posted a net profit of Rs 880 crore for the quarter ended
March 31, 2008, a growth of 3%, as against Rs 856 crore registered in the
corresponding quarter previous year. The companys revenue for the period stood
at Rs 5,700 crore, up 32% when compared to Rs 4,319 crore posted for the
corresponding quarter a year ago. The company posted a consolidated net profit
of Rs 3,283 crore for FY 08, an increase of 12%. Revenue grew by 33% to Rs
19,957 crore.

Rolta Q3 Net Grows 44.3%

Rolta India has posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 657 mn for the
third quarter ended March 31, 2008, up by 44.3%, as against Rs 455.4 mn posted
for the corresponding quarter previous year. The companys consolidated revenue
for the quarter increased to Rs 2,883.7 mn as against Rs 1,855.9 mn in the
corresponding quarter previous year, a y-o-y growth of 55.4%.

VMware Q1 Revenue at $438 mn

Vmware, a provider of virtualization solutions from the desktop to the data
center, has earned $438 mn in revenues during the first quarter of 2008, an
increase of 69% compared to the year-ago quarter. International revenues
increased by 74%.

Megasoft Posts Rs 15 cr Net Profit

Megasoft has posted a net profit of Rs 15 crore for the quarter ended March
31, 2008, an increase of 24% over Rs 12.1 crore posted during the corresponding
quarter a year ago. The companys revenue for the quarter was at Rs 90.3 crore,
an increase of 39% over the year ago quarter. The income from operations was Rs
66 crore.

Infotech Posts Rs 6.7 bn Revenue

Infotech Enterprise has reported a revenue of Rs 6.7 bn in FY 08, posting a
growth of 24.3%. During the fiscal, the net profit increased by 2.3% to Rs 855.7
mn while the revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 1.8 bn. The company expects a
growth of 30% in dollar terms for FY 09, with a calculation of the dollar rate
at Rs 39.

Saskens Revenues at Rs 157.3 crore

Sasken has declared its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. The
companys consolidated revenues stood at Rs 157.3 crore, up 11% on q-o-q basis.
During the same quarter, its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 14.8 crore as
against Rs 3.9 crore registered during the previous quarter. The companys FY
08 earning per share stood at Rs 13.80.

Satyam Q4 PAT Up 18.6%

Satyam Computer Services has reported an 18.61% increase in its net profit for
the quarter ended March 31, 2008. The company posted a profit after tax (PAT) of
Rs 466.85 crore for Q4 as compared to Rs 393.58 crore posted for the
corresponding quarter a year ago. Satyams total income for the quarter was at
Rs 2438.99 crore, a 31.9% increase from Rs 1849.55 crore posted for the
corresponding quarter.

iGATE Reports 15% Revenue Growth

iGATE Solution, a subsidiary of iGATE, has reported revenues of $54.9 mn, an
increase of 15%, in its first quarter of 2008. The company posted consolidated
revenues of $79.8 mn, from continuing operations, an increase of 7% from last
year. It added 307 employees during the quarter, taking the total to 6,566 as of
March 31, 2008 in iGATE Solutions segment.

CMC Annual Net Up 33%

IT solutions provider and a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services, CMC has
posted consolidated profit after tax of Rs 92.35 crore for FY 08, registering
an increase of 33% compared with Rs 69.32 crore in the previous year. The
companys consolidated revenue stood at Rs 1076.64 crore for 2007-08 (a marginal
decline of 0.8% primarily on account of a 3.6% decline in low margin equipment
revenue).

HCL Tech Net Up 12%

HCL Technologies has posted a net income of $85.4 mn for the third quarter ended
March 31 2008, up 12% y-o-y. The companys revenues stood at $485 mn, up 33.8%
y-o-y and 5.2% sequentially. The companys total headcount stood at 49,802 with
an attrition rate of 15.2% for the third quarter.

Aztecsoft Q4 Net Dips by 53%

Software engineering services provider Aztecsoft profit after tax for the
fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 dipped by 53.9% at Rs 3.15 crore, as
compared to Rs 6.75 crore posted for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The companys revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 68.71 crore when compared to
Rs 62.25 crore previous year.

MindTree Posts Q4 PAT of Rs 347 mn

MindTree has posted a profit after tax of Rs 347 mn for the fourth quarter ended
March 31, 2008, up 41.5% y-o-y. The companys revenues for the fourth quarter
stood at Rs 2,178 mn, up by 37.3% y-o-y. The companys total income grew by
28.4% over the previous year to Rs 7,677.8 mn.
