KLG Systel Q3 Profit Up by 24%

KLG Systel a leading software development and organization life cycle
solutions-company registered an increase in net income by 23.6% and touched a
high of Rs 1,227.4 lakhs from corresponding quarter of previous year's Rs.
993.3 lakhs. The company reported a robust profit before tax, which also
increased by Rs 60.3 lakhs (36.5%) from Rs 165.1 lakhs to Rs 225.4 lacs during
the quarter ended December 31, 2005 and Rs 253.2 lakhs (81.7%) from Rs 310 lakhs
to Rs 563.1 lakhs for the nine months period ended December 31, 2005.

India Infoline Q3 Up 97% Y-o-Y


India Infoline Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 123.6 mn for the
quarter ended December 31, 2005 compared to Rs 62.8 mn reported for the
corresponding quarter a year ago. Total income for the latest quarter was Rs
540.3 mn as against Rs 212.6 mn last year. Diluted earnings per share stood at
Rs 2.8 compared to Rs 2.2 in the year-ago period. The board of directors has
declared an interim dividend of Rs 2 per equity share of Rs 10 on a pro rata
basis.

Wipro Net Up 27%

Wipro Ltd's net profit has grown 27% to Rs 543 crore for the quarter ended
December 2005. The top line, driven by high-volume growth and an addition of a
record 61 clients in information technology, has recorded 30% growth to touch Rs
2,744 crore. Wipro Technologies, the company's global IT business arm, has
bettered its own epectation to touch the $473 mn (Rs 2,122 crore) mark in
revenue for the third quarter, against a guidance of $463 mn (Rs 2,074), turning
in 34% growth y-o-y and 12% growth on a sequential quarter-on-quarter basis.

HCL Tech Reports 40% Growth in Q3

The country's fifth-largest software and services company HCL Technologies
has announced a 40% y-o-y growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 181.1
crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total revenue during the period
grew 32% to Rs 1,054.2 crore while operating profit, or EBIDTA, was up 29% at Rs
237.7 crore.

Infotech Q3 Net Up 87%

Infotech Enterprises Limited registered a net profit of 87% for the third
quarter ended December 31, 2005, to Rs 133 mn. Operating revenues for the
quarter increased by 14.2% to Rs 940 mn compared to the previous 823.9 mn. EPS
for the period was recorded at Rs 8.8, an increase of 21.6%.

Virinchi Reports Rs 22.7 mn Net Profit

Virinchi Technologies, an e-business collaboration solutions provider
focusing on B2B space, has declared its third quarter results for the financial
year 2005-2006. The total revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 67.3 mn as
against Rs 50.9 mn in the third quarter of financial year 2004- 05. The net
profit for the quarter is at Rs 22.7 mn.

Satyam Q3 Net Surges 63.6%, Beats Forecast


Satyam Computer Services has reported a net profit of Rs 269.7 crore
for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005, up 63.6% from Rs 164.9 reported
for the year-ago period. Revenue increased 39.4% to Rs 1265.3 crore from Rs
907.4 posted for the corresponding period in 2004. On a sequential basis,
Satyam's net profit registered an increase of 13.8% from Rs 239.2 crore.

Zensar Net Profit Up 16%

Zensar Technologies has reported a 16% y-o-y increase in net profit to Rs
8.4 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Its consolidated revenue
grew 20% to Rs 109.3 crore in the reporting quarter compared to Rs 91 crore in
the year ago period. Sequentially, net profit saw 91% growth while revenues were
up 105.

Sasken Net Profit Up 40.5%

Sasken communication Technologies, a telecom and R&D outsourcing
company, has registered a net profit of rs 16.6 crore for nine months ended
December 31, 2005, against Rs 11.8 crore last year, registering a growth of
40.5%. The consolidated revenue stood at Rs 230.1 crore compared to RS 167.2
crore for last year.

Ramco Q3 Profit at Rs 6.2 crore

Net profit of Ramco Industries increased to Rs 6.2 crore in the third qarter
ended December 2005 against Rs 5 crore in the same period in the previous year.
Net sales rose to Rs 53.9 crore. In the first nine months, net profit increased
to Rs 27.3 crore.

MBT Q3 Net Up 406%

Mahindra-British Telecom (MBT), India's 8th largest software exporter and
one of the largest solutions providers to telecom companies around the world,
announced a 406% growth in profit after tax for Q3FY06. MBT has recorded
consolidated net profit after tax of Rs 75.3 crore for the third quarter ended
December 31, 2005 as against Rs 14.9 crore in the third quarter of the previous
year.

Avaya GlobalConnect Reports
Q3 Results

Avaya GlobalConnect Ltd, India's leading enterprise communication
solutions company, has announced its unaudited results for the quarter ended
December 2005. The company has recorded gross sales/income of Rs 10,936.3 lakh
and a net profit of 361.2 lakh. The profit before tax stands at Rs 614.1 lakh
for the quarter.  The profit before
tax reported for the period upto the third quarter of the financial year
2005-06, stands at Rs 4197.9 lakh.

HCL Insys Profit Rises 41%

HCL Infosystems has announced its un-audited results for the quarter ended
December 31, 2005. The company has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2806.5
crores during the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as against Rs 1994.8 crores in
the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 41%.

i-flex Net Profit Rises 20%

i-flex solutions has reported a 20% rise in net profit for the third quarter
ended December 31, 2005 reporting Rs 57.9 crore as against Rs 48 crore poeted in
the third quarter recording of the previous fiscal, on an non-consolidated
basis. Revenues in the quarter stood at Rs 297.5 crore as against Rs 249.4 crore
in the previous quarter recording a rise of 19%.

CyberMedia Q3 Net Up 28%

The CyberMedia Group has posted a 28% increase in net profit to Rs 17.7 mn
for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005, from Rs 13.8 mn reported in the
year-ago period.

The specialty media
publishing house's gross income remained steady at Rs 219.5 mn during the
reporting quarter. EBITDA margins increased to 18%, mainly due to exit from low
margin businesses. The revenues from publishing business were reported to have
increased 53.9% y-o-y to 156.5 mn, while the research business brought in
revenues of Rs 22.8 mn, up 35.1% from the corresponding quarter a year ago.

The group's online
business revenue showed a 30% increase y-o-y to Rs 11.8 mn in Q3FY2005-'06.
During the reporting quarter, the EBITDA margin jumped to 17.8% from 14% in Q3
2004-05. EBITDA increased 27.1% to Rs 39 mn from 30.7 mn reported for the
corresponding quarter the previous year.
