Reliance Jio recently unveiled a new annual plan priced at Rs 2399 that offers 2GB data per day. The telecom leader seems to have introduced that plan to offer people who are working from home the most data. Reliance Jio says that it has made Work-from-home “easy” as this 2GB per day plan that effectively costs Rs 200 per month for consumers.

That said, other leading telecom operators in India namely Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL are also offering annual plans at a similar price. Reliance Jio: The Mukesh Ambani owned telco offers two annual plans to its customers: One that costs Rs 2399 and one Rs 2121. The Rs 2399 plans, as mentioned above, offers 2GB data, 100 SMSes and unlimited calls per day for a period of one year. As far as the Rs 2121 plan is concerned, it offers 1.5GB data, 100 SMSes and unlimited calls per day for a period of one year as well.

BSNL: The state-owned telco BSNL offers three plans under the umbrella of prepaid annual plans. The annual prepaid plans according to its official website are as follows: Rs 3299 plan that offers 2.5GB data, Rs 2299 plan that offers 1.5GB data, and Rs 1251 plan that offers 0.75GB data. BSNL plans also differ across circles.

Airtel: Priced at Rs 2398, the annual plan from Airtel offers unlimited Local, STD and roaming calls on any network, daily 1.5GB data and 100 SMS for a period of one year. Users also get complimentary access to Airtel Xtream that has over 10,000 movies in different languages.

Vodafone Idea: The Vodafone Idea annual plan is also priced at Rs 2399 and offers unlimited local and national calls to all networks, 1.5GB data, and 100 local and national SMS per day. The pack is valid for 365 day and offers a free subscription to Zee5.
