It took a pioneering step in offering support for its enterprise in Linux

version 4 in five Indian languages-Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and

Tamil. This helped Red Hat to garner a number of e-governance initiatives, and

also to foray into SME segment. The Oracle Red Hat Linux Enterprise Applications

Porting (LEAP) center was launched in Singapore to assist Indian ISVs and SIs to

port, optimize and certify their solutions on Linux. Not surprisingly, India

became Red Hat's second largest market in Asia Pacific.
