Raritan Launches MasterConsole IP KVM Switches

Raritan, a provider of solutions for managing IT
infrastructure, has announced the availability of two KVM-over-IP models to its
MasterConsole family of KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switches to simplify server
maintenance for businesses with small and mid-sized server rooms and data
centers. Raritan said in a statement that its new MasterConsole IP18 and IP116
switches, which support eight and 16 servers, respectively, enable IT
administrators to manage and troubleshoot remote servers from the convenience of
their desktops, as well as servers at the local server rack. MasterConsole IP
switches are equipped with the industry's best-performing KVM-over-IP
technology. In addition, the new MasterConsole switches are priced 20% less per
port than enterprise-class KVM-over-IP switches, the statement said.
