The growth was impressive for Zylognot just topline, but a 21% increase in
net profits. The acquisition of Brainhunter (Canada) for C$35 mn, gave Zylog
access to 200 corporate customers and thirty-four government federal agencies.
On the domestic front, it got an ISP license and launched a pilot Wi-Fi project
(Wi5) in parts of Chennai; there were two RTO projects in Gujarat and Karnataka
for issuing smart cards for driving license and RC books as well as a BPL smart
cards project (for parts of Kerala, Bihar and Karnataka).
