Given the shrinkage of the hardware market, this Mumbai-based systems,

peripherals and networking distributor, grew 16% to touch Rs 128 crore in

revenues. Considering the overall shrinkage of the hardware market, Mediaman's

performance was reasonable–net profit grew 15% to Rs 4 crore. The core

competence is in the area of providing server solutions, portable computing and

mass-market peripheral products. Over 70% of revenues came from networking and

peripherals.
