Bangalore-based Tata Elxsi showed a negative growth of 4% to close fiscal

2001-02 at Rs 131.96 crore. Net profits, however, grew by 4% to touch Rs 16.74

crore. The last quarter of fiscal was the strongest, accounting for 35% of total

revenues. As in previous years, exports accounted for a third of total revenues,

with the US and Japan being the top destination geographies. The company is into

systems integration, design and development.
