An undisputed leader in the RAS market, CommWorks continued to do well–large
orders came from BSNL and MTNL, and repeat orders from existing customers like
Bharti, Tata ISP and VSNL. Total RAS sales added to Rs 105 crore and the
marketshare shot up from 53% to 62%, despite an overall flat market. The company
introduced enhanced professional services, which added to the performance. The
company plans to stick to its focus on telecom service providers and will
leverage on upcoming areas like IP wireless and soft switches.
