NE -- New entry

Delhi-based Adobe has been in India since 1982. With 113 people, it offers
some of the best perks and benefits in the business. It ranked third on overall
satisfaction and second on peer satisfaction. It also did well on attrition,
fourth with 5.8%, though it ranked 7th on retention (92.2%), which was still
above average. Adobe, however, suffered in the rankings due to very low training
focus and very short tenure–its employees stay for an average of 1.7 years in
the company, against the industry average of 3.5 years. A good 80% of Adobe
employees said their own company was their dream company. Of the rest, a
significant 10% voted for Sun Micro. However, only 3.1% of all IT employees
survey voted for it. Despite low overall training hours, employees seemed
satisfied with Adobe’s training and development initiatives.
