Cisco's Global Development Center at Bangalore is the
networking major's largest outside the US. Along with other Cisco GDCs, the
India center works on technologies ranging from Internet OS to IP, DSL, Cable,
wireless, VoIP and ATM technologies. It developed CiscoWorks' SNMS entirely in
India. The company has made investments of Rs 250 crore with further commitments
of $200 million over the next three years.
