New Update

HCL BPO misses a berth in the top five by just a whisker. On
an individual capacity, the BPO puts up a fairly consistent and stable
performance.

Given the pace of its growth, HCL BPO has done well to handle
some of the key expectations of employees. Salary, for example, is one parameter
on which employees show a fairly high degree of satisfaction. A significant
proportion of employees cited that they are satisfied with the salary hikes and
are paid at par with industry standards. Employees felt that the appraisal
system is also fairly transparent. This is an expected reaction as the
compensation structure in the company has been restructured in the last one year
to meet the market benchmark.

HCL BPO

AP Rao, Senior VP, HR, HCL BPO, says, "Attrition due to
the market opportunity is one of the biggest challenges for us." True,
given the high levels of compensation that ITeS companies are offering today, it
is not surprising that salary has become one of the most important components of
satisfaction.

HCL BPO has also gone for HR process certification with PCMM level 3 in order
to streamline existing HR processes.
