Nortel Networks fully exploited the boom in the IT-enabled services space,
especially the contact center opportunity, and sales to this segment alone were
Rs 90 crore, 30% up from Rs 69 crore in the previous year. The company also
leveraged its strength as an EPABX provider and pushed data products like
multiplexers. The enterprise business, which included contact center solutions,
data solutions comprising LAN/WAN products, and VPNs, was estimated at around Rs
180 crore.
