The IT services business stood at Rs 545 croreobviously the slump in North
America was responsible with its contribution coming down to Rs 224 crore. A
strong showing on engineering services, however, more than offset these losses.
The long-term contracts with Hamilton Sundstrand and Seawell, the acquisition of
Daxcon Engineering of Ilinois as well as completion of six years of Bombardier
relationship were some of the highlights. The company also announced a
multi-year contract with a Connecticut based company, to focus more on embedded
software and electronics design.
