While Mahindra Engineering Servicespart of the Systech division of the $7 bn
M&M Group and the second engineering services debutant in DQ Top20 list this
yearstill drew 99% of its revenues from automotive, the decision by the parent
Mahindra Group to enter aerospace implies the company will see increasing
revenue from the space. In December, M&M acquired majority stake in two
Australian firms, Aerostaff Australia and Gippsland Aeronautics, which will be
held by Mahindra Aerospace with design work likely to land up with the
engineering services arm.
