New Update

Motif is a rare participant in the survey for one reasons,
for being the only participant which has actually slashed its headcount in the
last year. This is a bit of an aberration especially when companies are actually
going all out to recruit aggressively. Secondly, it has slipped significantly on
the employee satisfaction score this year. At 68.1, it is down by over eight
points, which has put Motif in the same league as Keane, Transworks, AXA and
Integreon.

The Ahmedabad-based BPO has come up with some regular HR
initiatives over the years. Employee development is taken care of. In fact,
Motif's satisfaction score on training is at par with industry average.
Adequate recognition and motivation is also provided.

Nevertheless Motif, which has been a fairly consistent
performer in our past surveys, seemed to have lost some steam. As a preferred
employer, it does not fare too badly with almost 16% of its employees naming it
as their dream employer. However, it's a complete washout for Motif as a dream
company. Job content and compensation are serious pain points. Motif may just be
falling victim to the ever-increasing challenges of the industry.
