The overall modem market might have declined to Rs 340 crore, but industry
leader Atrie consolidated its position with a 53% market share. The companys
major orders in FY10 came from BSNL (Phase 5 GSM for south and West India) and
MTNL, and from other service providers for WiMax CPE and WiMax backhaul. Other
than the telecom carriers and service providers, banking, finance, insurance,
transport, e-governance and State WANs were the major contributers.
