The economic downturn spelt business opportunities for TIS as companies
sought to train their workforce in a cost effective way. The company also
adopted vertical based go-to-market approach further helped leverage this
opportunity. New client wins included MTS, John Deere India, Birla Sun Life,
Bajaj Auto, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, Western Union, Boston Consulting Group,
Maersk and Avaya. However, 80% of the revenue came from repeat business through
customers like Royal Mail, McGraw-Hill Group, Unilever, United Health Group and
British Airways.
