Unisys India began the year by winning two large contracts, to be the master
systems integrator in the modernization and expansion of Delhi International
Airport, from GMR and L&T respectively. The company, which has executed many
national identity programs, is seriously looking at being a supplier to the
Indian project, Aadhaar, but is yet to bag any orders. It increased its employee
base by 20% in a year in which many of its peers saw a dip in their headcount.
