TI drove its Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) agenda by
focusing on verticals like industrial automotive, consumer, healthcare and
telecom. It worked over the year on emerging segments like battery management,
LED lighting, energy management, consumer audio, high frequency inverters. In
the healthcare space, it launched a family of fully integrated Analog Front Ends
(AFE) to be used in devices like patient monitoring, ECG, etc. TI Indias R&D
center, continued its collaboration with other TI R&D centers to design chips
for the global markets, including India.
