The sharp decline in revenues was due to divestment of IT services (BlueAlly
division) in October 2009 to focus on telecom; considering that IT accounted for
45% of Megasofts revenues the previous year. Subsequently, it optimized
operations in the telecom division (XIUS-bcgi) in the US and returned to
profitabilityby moving from licensing to a monthly revenue (pay-per-use) model.
It went live with two larger carriers in the US with its mobile advertising
platform, Xius Advalue. It also expanded into the Far East and Central America.
