NE--New entry |

In its present form, it is the youngest company taking part in the survey. It
ranked 6th on average salary and perks, 9th on overall satisfaction and 8th on
peer satisfaction. However, it had lower relative scores on training hours (#15)
and attrition was just around the industry average, while retention was a mite
less than the average. For a new entry, Digital did well on preferred company
scores, ranking 10th with 2.6% of all employees voting for it as their dream
company. This included a good 60.6% of Digital’s own employees. Interestingly,
among its own employees who did not vote for Digital, 12.1% said Sun Micro and
9.1% IBM. Employees were largely happy on attributes for which they joined the
company, including the technology they got to work on. But not so happy with
facilities, resources and interpersonal relationships.
