Profits for this Pune-based company were down 41% to Rs 2 crore. KPIT has a

strong presence in the US and European markets–which contributed 37% and 47%,

respectively. KPIT roped in 71% of revenues from onsite projects. This year,

Cummins Infotech merged with KPIT, and was renamed as KPIT Cummins Infosystems.

The merger brings to KPIT expertise from the manufacturing sector, to complement

its strength in the financial services, banking and telecom sectors.
