Kolkata-based software service exporter RS Software was severely affected by

the downturn, with its revenues slipping by 11% compared to the 50%-plus growth

it showed for the last three years. The company also suffered a net loss of Rs

24.13 crore. It was the first half of the fiscal year that was positive,

contributing 54% of the total revenues. The company focused on development,

testing, project management and support.
