With 35% revenue coming from healthcare, LGS looked at raising $30 mn through
issue of FCCBs to fund the acquisition of two healthcare companies, in the US
and UK, each for a total of $20 mn. It bagged a contract from MACS, North
Carolina for implementing the prime health applications (hosted on cloud), as
well as streamlining the medical information, records, billing and analysis of
patient information. Healthcare EVP Vincent Grasso was selected to lead the
technical team on a $5 mn dollar grant application to develop a HIPAA compliant,
web based data entry and reporting platform.
