A software services company, Geometric Software Solutions, part of the Godrej
group, showed a 34% increase in net profit for fiscal 2001-02. Totally focused
on the global market with its entire revenue coming in from clients in the US,
Europe, and Asia Pacific, Geometric saw nearly 15% of revenues coming in from
packaged software in the design engineering and analysis area. Services made up
for the remaining part of the revenues. Geometric's operation areas are
solutions in CAD/CAM/CAE, product data management and collaborative engineering.
