Kolkata-based Supertron Electronics is one of the leading distributors of
computer peripherals and systems in eastern India.

The turnover for 2000-01 stood at Rs 75.2 crore, showing a 15% increase over
the last fiscal. Net revenues, however, declined by 10% compared to the last
fiscal to touch Rs 45 lakh. Sector-wise, revenues were highest for the private
sector, which accounted for Rs 54.55 crore–73% of its total earnings.
Segment-wise, it was the IT and telecom sectors that brought in the largest
slice of revenues.
