Bangalore-based Axes Technologies is the offshore development center of its

US parent. The company is a global telecom solutions provider, and its primary

focus area is providing mission-critical, software development services and

hardware solutions to leading telecom equipment manufacturers, carriers and

service providers. Fiscal 2001-02 saw its revenues run up 105% to Rs 76.38 crore,

while net profit was up 218% to Rs 33.95 crore. The going was good, especially

in a year that was tough for telecom software players.
