RailTel Apprenticeship Announced for Engineers, Stipend Rs 14,000

RailTel Corporation, an Indian public sector enterprise which provides broadband and VPN services, is looking to hire engineers as apprentices for a period of one year. Candidates selected for RailTel apprenticeship will be engaged as apprentice trainees under the Apprentices Act 1961. While graduate engineers will get paid a monthly stipend of Rs 14,000, and diploma engineers will get Rs 12,000 stipend per month.

Who Can Apply for RailTel Apprenticeship?

The notification issued on the MHRDNATS website says that there are 23 apprentice vacancies at present for which candidates with a full-time regular four years graduation in engineering or technology or full-time regular three years diploma in in engineering or technology from the following streams can apply:

• Electronics and telecommunication engineering.
• Computer science engineering.
• Civil engineering.
• Electrical and electronic engineering.
• Information technology.

Candidates who have already completed three years of their graduation or diploma are not eligible to apply for the apprenticeship. In addition to this, those who have already done an apprenticeship with other organisations are also not eligible to apply for the RailTel apprenticeship.

How to Apply for RailTel Apprenticeship?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications by registering and enrolling with the NATS portal using their user ID, email and password before 16 May 2023. The methodology to register is as follows:

• Going to www. mhrdnats.gov.in.
• Clicking on enroll.
• Completing the application form.
• A unique enrolment number for each student will be generated.

Applicants will have to wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. Upon receiving the enrollment number, applicants will have to:

• Login.
• Click Establishment Request Menu.
• Click Find Establishment.
• Upload Resume.
• Choose Establishment name.
• Type RailTel and search.
• Click apply.
• Click apply again.
