Rahul Jaimani has decided to move on from Swiggy. He will, however, continue to be a board member and shareholder. Sriharsha Majety, Rahul Jaimani and Nandan Reddy founded Swiggy and the parent holding company Bundl Technologies in 2014. Jaimani was formerly associated with Myntra.

“This is not a goodbye, it's more of a thank you. After being a part of the Swiggy founding team and the close family we've all become over these past 6 years, it's time for me to take up a new challenge,” tweeted Rahul Jaimani earlier today.

Sriharsha Majety, through a blogpost, stated that over the past couple of months Jaimani had been interested in the idea of remote working. “Over the last 6 months, Rahul had been taken by the future of remote working – especially the chance for India to disrupt the landscape with its access to world-class engineering talent. He’s also invested as an angel in a company that is eyeing this opportunity (Nandan and I joined the round), and diving deeper convinced him that this is another area he can have a huge impact on, building something from scratch,” he said.

The blogpost also goes on to mention that Jaimani then mentioned to Majety and Reddy about working full-time with the company. “While Rahul moves on from his day-to-day responsibilities, he will continue to be a board member and shareholder. Nandan and I will totally miss having him around, and wish him the very best with new adventures,” tweeted Majety.
