Raghubar Das inaugurates JBVNL Mobile App powered by Tech Process

Honorable Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Raghubar Das, inaugurated the mobile bill payment app for Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL), which is powered by Next Gen Digital Payments Platform developed by TechProcess Payment Services Ltd, India’s leading electronic payments platform.

The citizens of Jharkhand will now be able to pay for utility services conveniently on the Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited mobile app compatible with Android operating system. The Next Generation Digital Payments Platform enables payment gateway services that accept debit and credit cards along with internet banking services. The platform provides a real time response for all requests on payment gateway of mobile app.

On the occasion, Honorable Chief Minister, Shri Raghubar Das said, “Last year, JBVNL introduced online bill payments on their website. By launching a mobile application that accepts payments, this is a step forward that brings convenience in the palms of consumers.”

Shri Rahul Kumar Purwar (IAS), Managing Director - JBVNL said, “With the launch our new mobile app, we are providing citizen centric m-governance services and bringing ease to our customers by assisting to avoid queues for utility payments.”
