Symantec's Performance Management Software

Symantec has announced the release of Symantec
i3 7.5 application performance management software, formerly known as VERITAS
i3.  The latest version of the
software provides significant enhancements to enable performance problem
identification, root cause analysis, and proactive management of J2EE platforms.
Additionally, it extends support to the Sybase database

environment, and provides customers with additional operating system and
database support.

ASUS' Serverboard Series

ASUSTek Computer has unveiled the PVL-D Series
serverboards, which support a two-processor platform for the latest Intel
dual-core, hyper-threaded Xeon MP (Paxville) processor to deliver power of eight
CPU threads. The PVL-D series support a dual-Xeon DP dual-core processor
platform with Hyper-Threading Technology, independent 2M L2 cache for each CPU
core and 800MHz system bus.

WinXP in Malayalam

Microsoft India has announced the availability
of the Malayalam language interface for Windows XP. The Malayalam Language
Interface Pack (LIP) can be downloaded at no additional cost from the Microsoft
website.

NETGEAR's VPN Routers

NETGEAR, a provider of branded networking
products, has announced the rollout of its line of unified threat management
solutions that includes Trend Micro's powerful client/server (CS) and
client/server/messaging (CSM) suite for small and medium business into the
NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall 200 (FVX538) and ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 (FVS338)
routers.

Siemon's Cabling Jacks

The Siemon Company, a manufacturer of network
cabling systems, has announced the launch of MAX line of RJ45 style modular
outlets/jacks, a part of its screened augmented category six (Cat 6A) solution,
that significantly reduce the termination time for the F/UTP cable to less than
three minutes. The streamlined termination and grounding process is based on
multiple timesaving features and configurations.

EMC'c New Storage Solution

EMC has launched a range of new storage and
virtualization solutions. According to the company, the new products include its
high-end storage array, innovative new file system software and new network
attached storage virtualization capabilities. These new solutions simplify and
extend the benefits of information lifecycle management (ILM) to more
applications and more information using cost-effective and ubiquitous Internet
Protocol networks. The company launched entry-level and high-end configurations
of its Symmetrix DMX-3 storage array, including those featuring new low-cost,
Fibre Channel (LC-FC) 500 GB (gigabyte) disk drives. The new EMC Multi-Path File
System for iSCSI (MPFSi) file system software, said to be a first in the
industry delivers substantial performance and cost improvements in data
intensive environments that process large files over IP networks, including grid
computing, rich media, software development and others.

Infotecs Launches New ViPNet OFFICE

Infotecs has announced the release of a new
version of ViPNet OFFICE, a VPN solution for secure data transfer along Internet
channels. The new version offers extended localization and now supports English,
German, Spanish, Russian languages, with Portuguese well on the way. Certain

enhancements are made in the way a private network adjusts to various network
environments. Additional DSN and dynamic DNS support now enables better and
flexible connectivity. Version 2.8.11 also features the ability to control VPN
objects remotely. On the whole, the changes aim at higher level of security for
all types of content and the ability to control network access in various
configurations.

NGN 8-in-1 ZyWALL UTM Series Launched

ZyXEL Communications, a broadband access
solutions provider, has announced the availability of its next generation ZyWALL
UTM (Unified Threat Management) series in India, incorporating eight security
features, such as firewall, IDP (intrusion detection and prevention), anti-spam
and antivirus. In addition, the new products from ZyXEL boast of the world's
first Network Security Turbo Card to boost overall throughput by an amazing 20
times.

CA Offers Unified Threat Management Solution

Computer Associates (CA) has announced the
launch of CA Integrated Threat Management r8, a solution that provides
comprehensive, scalable protection against malware, spyware, rootkits, blended
threats, and other forms of malicious code across the enterprises, enabling
customers to effectively minimize risk and downtime while reducing security
workloads. This solution unifies new versions of CA PestPatrol anti-Spyware
Corporate Edition and CA Antivirus through a centralized web-based console that
enables administrators to find and resolve threats from anywhere on the network.

Interaction Solution

Servion Global Solutions
and Microsoft India has announced an offering of CIM with customer relationship
management solution for customers in India and other Asia Pacific countries.
With Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0-Microsoft's latest version of its CRM
solution, which delivers a suite of marketing, sales, and service solutions
within a native Microsoft Office experience-customers will have immediate
access to contact center interactions through Servion's CIM suite.
