Analog Intros New Converter

Analog Devices has introduced a dual 14-bit analog-to-digital converter
(ADC) to achieve sampling rates of 150 mega samples per second. Supporting all
3G base station wireless standards, including W-CDMA, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA, the
AD9640 also fulfils the requirements for the emerging WiMax standard.

Texas Luanches PoE Manager

Texas Instruments has introduced the industry's first fully integrated
Power over Ethernet (PoE) management device that allows multi-port enterprise
systems to deliver up to 25 watts of power over a standard Ethernet cable. The
power source equipment manager enables commercial, industrial, medical and
military applications to manage Ethernet-powered devices.

Acer's New Notebook

Acer has introduced a new notebook, the Acer Aspire 5101ANWLMi, carrying a
price tag of Rs 31, 499. The Aspire 5101ANWLMi uses an AMD Turion 64 bit enabled
processor running at 2.0 GHz and comes with a hard disc drive of 60 GB that
reserves storage space for saving files, downloads, music and games, the PC
vendor said in a press release. The 15.4 inch Wide CrystalBrite Screen and
inbuilt DVD Writer gives flexibility to users to view and download movies and
videos.

Pinnacle's Analog TV Sticks

Pinnacle Systems has plans to introduce Pinnacle TV sticks in India by the
second half of next year. The focus would be on analog TV sticks converging
mobility and entertainment targeting laptop users. Mac compatible versions would
also be available and the Indian pricing would be finalized in February this
year.

PSI Data Launches AssetTest

Epson Launches Stylus Photo R390

Epson has announced the launch of the Stylus Photo R390 printer aimed at
photo enthusiasts looking for direct printing function. The printer supports
printing without a PC. It comes with a 3.5 inch LCD screen, ports for PictBridge
devices, USB Direct Print, IrDA and optional Bluetooth and a card slot bay.

HCLI's Gaming PC

HCL Infosystems has launched a gaming PC known as HCL Beanstalk Dominator
targeted at the home computing market. As part of the HCL Beanstalk 2007
collection, this gaming PC claims to have better graphics and processes required
by the gaming freaks.

WD's My Book Pro

Western Digital (WD) has launched My Book Pro Editions hard disk drives for
the Indian market. My Book Pro Edition combines triple interfaces including
FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0, features backup and system recovery
software and is available in capacities of 250 and 500 GB. The price point for
the 500 GB capacity is Rs 17,500.
