PGCIL Recruitment 2021: Powergrid Corporation of India Limited has invited applications from engineers with valid GATE 2021 scores for 40 Executive Trainee vacancies. Selected candidates will most likely be posted in POWERGRID offices, substations, construction sites, and even telecom at locations spread across the country. Selected candidates will be placed on the pay scale of Rs 60,000 to 1,80,000 during the one-year training period, and after the successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Managers in the same scale.

Who Can Apply for PGCIL Recruitment 2021?

The notification issued on the PGCIL website says that there are a total of 40 vacancies for which candidates may apply using their GATE 2021 registration number and other required information. Apart from GATE score, applicants will need to have the following qualifications:

Candidates above 28 years and those with GATE 2020 scores are not eligible to apply. “Management reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereafter,” reads the notification.

How to Apply for the Vacancies at PGCIL?

Eligible applicants will have to submit online applications before 15 April 2021 on the official website. GATE registration number as appearing on the GATE 2021 admit card needs to be entered carefully in the online application form. Also, a non-refundable online application fee of Rs 500 needs to be paid. Applicants are advised to go through the official notification in detail for more information.
