PGCIL recruitment 2020 is now being conducted in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh and parts of Haryana. Power Grid Corporation is engaging apprentices across the country for which interested graduates can apply online. Selected candidates will be engaged for one year, and will be paid a stipend of up to Rs 15,000 based on their qualification.
Who can Apply for PGCIL Recruitment 2020?
According to the official notification issued on the Power Grid website, there are a total of 93 vacancies out of which 20 are for graduates with a BE or BTech in electrical engineering, 5 are for candidates with BE or BTech in civil engineering, 25 are for candidates with diploma in electrical engineering, 10 are for candidates with diploma in civil engineering, 8 are for candidates with diploma in office management, 5 are for candidates with a BA or BBA, and 20 are for candidates with an ITI in electrical.
As mentioned earlier, graduates in electrical and civil engineering, and executive in human resources will receive Rs 15,000 per month, diploma in electrical and civil engineering, assistant HR will receive Rs 12,000 per month, and ITI in electrical will receive Rs 11,000 per month.
