PGCIL recruitment 2020, which is already underway for Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan, will now be conducted for the Southern region as well. The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has now notified of 119 new apprentice vacancies in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, and be eligible for a stipend of up to Rs 15,000 per month.
Who can Apply for PGCIL Recruitment 2020?
The notification issued on the official website says that there are a total of 119 apprentice vacancies for which the qualification required, and the stipend paid will be as follows:>
- 22 vacancies are for graduates in electrical engineering, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 15,000 per month.
- 5 vacancies are for graduates in civil engineering, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 15,000 per month.
- 11 vacancies are for graduates in electronics and telecommunication engineering, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 15,000 per month.
- 26 vacancies are for candidates with a diploma in electrical engineering, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 12,000 per month.
- 11 vacancies are for candidates with a diploma in civil engineering, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 12,000 per month.
- 14 vacancies are for assistant in human resources with BA or BBA degree, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 12,000 per month.
- 30 vacancies are for candidates with an ITI in the electrical field, and selected candidates will be paid Rs 12,000 per month.

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply for the posts on the official PGCIL website before 26 June 2020. Graduate and diploma candidates who have passed their final year examination, not before 2 years are eligible to submit the application.
