Jabra recently launched the Jabra Evolve2 Buds, the newest product in Jabra’s Evolve series. The company said that the Evolve2 Buds, which are meant for professionals who are working on the go, were certified for leading virtual meeting platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and use the latest technology to reduce disruptive background noise and enable clearer calls. Peter Jayaseelan, Vice President and Managing Director - South Asia and Head - Public Sector (APAC), Jabra spoke to Dataquest on the sidelines of the event.

Peter said that although the world was moving back to normal, a large number of professionals were still working in the hybrid mode and are also requesting for work from home on one day of the week at least. Quoting a recent study that Jabra did, Peter said that 45 percent of the work force was still working in the hybrid mode, 19 percent were fully remote, and 37 percent of the workforce was working from office.

With remote and hybrid work fast becoming mainstream, organizations are mindful of ensuring flexibility at work as it is crucial for productivity, job satisfaction, and well-being. Hybrid working is going to be the future of work since this approach enables the optimal balance of productive work with reduced stress and less commuting. Above all, hybrid working has highlighted the importance of using the right technology at work to be able to collaborate more efficiently, effectively, and seamlessly, says the company.

Peter also quoted the study to share a few more interesting facts. “80 percent of the meeting are now fully hybrid with only 20 percent happening fully in person. 61 percent say they feel more included and present in the meetings when everyone has their camera turned on,” said Peter while reiterating about how the hybrid work trend is here to stay.

“In the world, we live in today, being connected has never been more important for professionals collaborating from different locations and time zones. Employees have settled into the flexibility and freedom that comes with Hybrid working and expect things to be much more pliable than they were pre-pandemic. With all that in mind, we are happy to launch our newest offering Jabra Evolve2 Buds that is aesthetically suited for working professionals on the go,” he commented.
