Srivastava HP India COO



HP India has appointed Rajiv Srivastava as COO. Srivastava will be a part of the
central leadership team of HP in India and will be responsible for driving the
companys growth and business performance. He will be in charge of managing the
overall commercial and financial impact across all organizational decisions and
activities. His role will span across all business units in India, including PSG,
IPG, ES and EB. Srivastava will report to Neelam Dhawan, MD, HP India.

Emerson Elevates Deshpande

Shrirang Deshpande will take over as the director, data center business, Emerson
Network Power, India. In his new role, Deshpande will be responsible for
consulting and building turnkey data centers, and designing new solutions with a
focus on energy efficiency and adaptive architecture. Prior to this, he was
regional head, business critical continuity passive infrastructure solutions in
Maharashtra for Emerson Network Power, India.

Ramesh Joins Crompton



J Ramesh has joined as the CIO of Crompton Greaves, one of Indias largest
private sector enterprises involved in designing and manufacturing of electrical
products related to power generation, transmission and distribution. He was
earlier the CIO at MIRC Electronics (Onida) for five years where his biggest
contribution was to upgrade the existing ERP system. He had previously served as
head, SAP at Videocon International.

Bonus for Apple COO



Appreciating the efforts of Tim Cook, COO, Apple, the company has awarded him a
bonus valued at $22 mn for leading the company while Steve Jobs, chief
executive, was away on six months medical leave last year. Cook would be given
a one-time discretionary bonus of $5,000,000 and 75,000 restricted stock units
amounting to $17,000,000 in recognition of his outstanding performance.

SAP Appoints Naik

SAP AG has appointed Bhuvaneswar Naik as the vice president, human resources
for India. In this role, Naik will have strategic and operational responsibility
of the people function. He will foster higher customer satisfaction through
driving people strategy and process alignment across all SAP entities in India.
Naik has worked with SAP in the past as head of human resources for SAP Labs
India and VP, global HR shared services.
