Raghuraman Joins Fujitsu

Fujitsu India has announced the appointment of P Raghuraman as the general
manager for its channel & volume product business of the companys India
operations. Prior to joining Fujitsu, Raghuraman was the sales director for
consumer PSG Products with HP India. In a career spanning more than sixteen
years, he has worked with other IT hardware companies like PCL, Redington and
Acer India.

Deloitte Appoints Sondhi



Deloitte has appointed Sachin Sondhi as senior director for its consulting
practice. Sondhi would lead the strategy and operations practice within
Deloittes consulting function. He brings more than fourteen years of experience
to Deloitte. He would focus on the financial services sector. Prior to shifting
base to India, Sachin worked with Deloitte Consulting LLP. He has rich
experience of working with major financial institutions in the US and Asia.

Jadhav is GlobalLogic CPO

GlobalLogic has appointed Milind Jadhav as its chief people officer. He will
work directly with GlobalLogics CEO, Peter Harrison, to advance the companys
leadership in outsourced product development. Jadhav has experience in human
resources operations in the US, India, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific
regions.

Wipros Acharya Passes Away

Ranjan
N Acharya, corporate vice president, human resources of Wipro passed away in
July. An MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (1980), he was a
member of the Corporate Executive Council (CEC), the top management think tank
for Wipro Corporation and also the convener for the strategic leadership
development council under the guidance of the chairman of Wipro.

SumTotal Appoints Stinnett

Barbara
Stinnett will assume the newly created position of president, SumTotal Systems.
In this role, she will be responsible for leading the company and all of its
operations with the mission of advancing SumTotals integrated talent
development strategy. She succeeds SumTotals current CEO, Arun Chandra.

Former White House Adviser on HP Board



Larry Irving will join HP as vice president, global government affairs, in
September. Irving, a former White House technology adviser, will oversee HPs
global government affairs team from Washington. Irving has a bachelors degree
in political science from Northwestern University and a law degree from Stanford
University. He currently serves as CEO of the Irving Information Group.

John Dowd Joins Mastek



Mastek has appointed John Dowd as group president and chief executive officer of
the company. Dowd will be responsible for establishing strategic direction of
Mastek, all worldwide operations, and will have overall accountability for
business performance. Till recently, Dowd served as Masteks president and chief
operating officer.

Seagate Appoints VP and MD



Seagate Technology has announced the appointment of BanSeng Teh as its vice
president and managing director of Nippon Seagate. Teh will assume
responsibility for Seagates Japan operations in addition to his existing
responsibilities as VP and MD for Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Organization.
Teh will be responsible for the successful promotion of Seagate in Asia Pacific
and Japan.

Sonata Gets New Head of Services



Bengaluru based Sonata Information Technology has appointed Ananth Padmanabhan
as head of its services business. As SITLs head of services, Padmanabhan will
focus on the domestic market and leverage both Sonatas goodwill in the customer
fraternity as well as its ties with global technology majors to further build
Sonatas services portfolio.

Vertex Ropes In New CEO

UK-based BPO firm Vertex has appointed Paul Sweeny as its CEO. In his new
role, Sweeny is responsible for leading the business through its next growth
phase. He will lead a workforce of almost 9,000 people across the UK, North
America and India.

Venugopal is Hitachis VP, India



Hitachi Data Systems has appointed Vivekanand Venugopal as its VP and GM,
India. Venugopals new leadership role would encompass growing the business,
extending partnerships and accelerating expansion of the companys revenue,
customers and market share in India.

Manoj Chugh to Lead EMC India & SAARC



EMC India has appointed Manoj Chugh as president of EMC India & SAARC
region. Chugh replaces Ohrie, who has resigned from EMC. Chugh previously held
the leadership role in India for five years. He will continue to lead global
accounts for EMC in APJ, in addition to now leading the sales and services
organizations in EMC India.

Nomura Appoints Birendra Agarwal as MD & CIO

Nomura, the Asia-based global investment bank, has appointed Birendra
Agarwal as managing director and chief information officer for Nomura Services,
India (Powai). Agarwal will be based in Mumbai. He brings more than twenty years
of leadership experience in managing IT for financial services in the US and UK.
