Google India has announced three high profile appointments. The company has
named Sridhar Seshadri as the business head, Financial Services, Parminder Singh
as business head, Technology, and Narasimha Jayakumar as business head, Travel
and Local, for its advertising and monetization business.

Telcordia Appoints Donnelly as VP

Telcordia has appointed Pat Donnelly as vice president, India, Service Delivery
Solutions. Donnelly will lead regional initiatives including working with
marquee customers such as IDEA and Tata. He will also be responsible for driving
corporate growth in the rapidly emerging Indian region.

New Horizons Appoints Madhan as Sr VP

New Horizons India (NHIL) has appointed Inder Madhan as senior vice
president of Applied Learning and Services. Madhan will be responsible for the
corporate and consumer models of training, and content development businesses.
He will also be responsible for New Horizons Consulting and Business Solutions
services and will spearhead the companys foray into knowledge management.

Perot Gets New COO for CAS Unit

Perot Systems has announced the appointment of Gopinathan Padmanabhan as
chief operating officer and vice president (Global Delivery) for its Consulting
and Applications Solutions (CAS), Global Business Unit. Perot also appointed Dr
Pallab Bandyopadhyay as head of Human Resources for the companys Asia Pacific
region.

LSI Appoints Desale as MD, India

LSI
has appointed Pravin Desale as MD of India operations. In his new role, Desale
will be responsible for driving business growth, advancing the LSI India R&D
strategy, and spearheading the growth of the LSI organization in India. The
company currently employs approximately 580 people in Bangalore and Pune. Desale
will help drive key initiatives and infrastructure for LSI India and support
company business units in the development and management of alliances,
partnerships and relationships with customers, suppliers, universities, and
government entities.

HYSEAs New Managing Committee

HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Exporters Association) has announced the
newly-constituted managing committee for 2008-2010 at Infosys Campus. According
to a release from the association, the committee resolved to work with all
stakeholders, including government for the benefit of the SME segment, in view
of the general slowdown in the IT industry. The meeting also resolved to work
collaboratively with other trade/govt associations like STPI, Nasscom, CII,
Ficci, and AMCHAM.

Parker Appointed Ikya Chairman

Ikya Human Capital Solutions has appointed Marcel Parker as its chairman. Before
joining Ikya, Parker was the president-HR of Raymond Group of Companies. He has
over thirty-eight years of experience in manpower management at the highest
levels across HR functions in reputed organizations such as Voltas and The East
India Hotels

Raj Das Joins Hitachi GST

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) has announced the
appointment of Raj Das as senior vice president of worldwide marketing. In his
new role, Das will be responsible for worldwide product planning and strategy,
positioning, promotion, and fulfilment. Earlier, Das was vice president at SGI (SGIC),
where he was responsible for product management and channel marketing.

Lenovo Gets Gill as Executive Director

Lenovo India has appointed Jaivinder Singh Gill as Relational Business Head. He

enterprise business portfolio and will be based in Lenovos Gurgaon office. He
will oversee new avenues in these ever-evolving business segments and will be

space, has announced the appointment of Rajesh Ghonasgi as chief financial
officer (CFO) and Yesh Subramanian as chief marketing officer (CMO). The two new

and will manage all the financial activities at Persistent including handling

TTSL Appoints Sinha as Regional Head

As part of the restructuring exercise aimed at realigning the company for

provider, has appointed Sanjiv Sinha as regional head, East and chief operating
officer for Kolkata. A metallurgy graduate, Sinha brings with him a wealth of

Camilleri Promoted as VP of eMeter

eMeter, a provider of meter data management (MDM) software to electric, gas, and
water utilities, has announced that industry solutions veteran Mark Camilleri
has been promoted as VP, Sales and Marketing. Previously, he served as eMeters
regional manager of Asia Pacific based in Sydney. Camilleri brings over

Nasscom Appoints DR Kamlesh Bajaj

Nasscom, the premier trade body and voice of the Indian IT-BPO industry, has
announced the appointment of Dr Kamlesh Bajaj as CEO, DSCI and as the head of
its security initiatives. In addition to assuming the office of the CEO of DSCI,
Dr Bajaj will be responsible for providing direction to Nasscoms ongoing
security initiatives and activities. Dr Bajaj will be based in the New Delhi
office of the DSCI.
