Anantara Appoints Ganesh as Director



Anantara Solutions, one of the pioneers in second generation outsourcing (SGO),
has announced the appointment of LS Ganesh, head, Department of Management
Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, as a director on its
board. Dr Ganesh has been with the management faculty of IIT Madras since 1987.
His expertise has been sought for national and international projects sponsored
by World Bank and UNDP.

Vivel Saurabh is Id8labs New CEO

Id8labs has appointed Vivek Saurabh as its new CEO. Saurabh holds an MBA in
Marketing and has sixteen years of experience in operations, marketing, and
business development in BPO, Telecom, Media, Entertainment, and FMCG industries.
He has earlier headed Genpacts Center of Excellence and prior to that he was
marketing head for Idea Cellular in the Delhi and NCR region. Saurabh will
operate from New Delhi and will also set up Id8labs Delhi operations.

Patni Appoints Boog as Executive Director

Patni Computer Systems has appointed Loek van den Boog as executive director
with effect from April 29, 2008. He has been an independent director with the
company since March 2005. Boog is backed by over twenty-five years of experience
in the software industry. He has held various executive level positions in
international software companies as well as chairman and other board positions
in a variety of private and public companies.

IAMAI Appoints Balakrishnan as Chairman Emeritus



Ajit Balakrishnan, founder, chairman and managing director of Rediff.com and
globally a well-known face for the Indian Internet and new media business, is
chairman emeritus of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). In
his capacity as chairman emeritus, a lifetime appointment, Balakrishnan would
head the Council of past chairpersons and provide strategic direction to the
association as well as the Internet and Mobile Content and Services industry.

Ohrie to Succeed Chugh as EMC President

Alok Ohrie will succeed Manoj Chugh as president of EMC India & Saarc Region.
Ohrie, a twenty-year IT industry veteran in India, joins EMC from AMD where he
was VP and MD for AMDs India operations. He will lead EMCs India & Saarc sales
and service organizations with responsibility for the regions total revenue,
its current and future customers, and EMCs various partners.

Deshpande to Lead Hungamas Wireless Division



Hungama, a leading digital entertainment company, has announced the appointment
of Rohan Deshpande as associate director, Wireless Technology. He will be
responsible for creating and executing the technology roadmap. This

Alok Sharma Appointed VP at Headstrong

Services India. Sharma comes on board with twenty-five years of experience in

Tim Jones Joins QuEST Board

QuEST, a provider of outsourced engineering services and manufacturing, has
added Tim Jones to the Board of Directors of QuEST Manufacturing. He, recently
retired as MD of Rolls-Royce, India. Jones joined Rolls Royce in 1985 following
a career in the Royal Air Force Regiment.

Zapak, Jump Tie Up with Ishant Sharma



The two gaming divisions of Reliance Entertainment, a part of the Reliance
ADA Group, namely Zapak Digital Entertainment, and Jump Games, have tied up with
the latest pace sensation of India, Ishant Sharma. As a part of the deal,
Zapak.com would be creating and hosting an online game based around the
cricketer while Jump Games would be creating a mobile game for him. This would
be a browser-based cricket game based on the young Indian cricket prodigy Ishant
Sharma.

Shiv Nadar Gets Padma Bhushan

has received the Padma Bhushan, Indias third highest civilian honor. The award,
presented by President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, has been given in recognition

Ryan to Serve as Interim CEO at SAC



Secure Computing Corporation has announced that its board of directors has
named Daniel Ryan to serve as the companys interim chief executive officer.
Ryan, who became Secures president and chief operating officer in August 2007,
was also appointed to serve as a member of the Secure Computing board of
directors. Richard Scott, who has been a Secure board member since January 2006,
was appointed as Secures chairman of the board. Scott, who was a board member
of CyberGuard from April 2004 to Secures acquisition of CyberGuard in January
2006, is currently chairman and chief executive officer of Richard L Scott
Investments, a private investment company.

Rocky COO, CFO for McAfee

McAfee has announced that Albert A Rocky Pimentel has joined the company
as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. He will be responsible
for leading all worldwide finance, IT, facilities, and manufacturing functions,
reporting directly to chief executive officer and president Dave DeWalt. Rocky
brings proven business transformation skills across finance, mergers and
acquisitions, as well as overall business leadership, said DeWalt.

Avaya Appoints Gulve as MD, Avaya India



Avaya, a global leader in business communications applications, is gearing up
for an expansion of its R&D operations in Pune as part of its initiative to
increase its foothold in India. Simultaneously, the company has also announced
the appointment of Sam (Samir) Gulve as managing director, Avaya India and vice
president of Avayas Global Communication Solutions (GCS) division. Since 2005,
Avayas R&D operations in India have witnessed significant growth.
