	Revenues down to just over half of its turnover in fiscal 2000 Employee strength reduced by 50% last fiscal alone, further headcount reduction on cards

Just three years ago, this Chennai-based company had seen revenues grow in
triple digits and looked set to go places. With two straight years of negative
growth, its revenues by the end of fiscal 2003 were a little over a half of its
revenues in fiscal 2000. A direct result of that–a record half of its entire
staff strength was downsized in 2002-03. Further downsizing is on and there
should be only 485 employees left by end of the current fiscal.
