Not a good year for Pentamedia, which saw revenues declining by 45%.
Significant developments over the year include its full-length 2D animation
movie Buddha, which got a very positive response. The company's 2D activities
are focused on home videos, and during the year, it produced entertainment
videos for children like Esquire Bang Bang, Fact Daisy, and Dial a Rhyme. It
also aired these videos on the satellite channel called Splash. Meanwhile,
Gulliver's Travels became the fifth 3D animated feature that was made using
motion capture techniques.
