Fiscal 2004 brought in more bad news with revenues sliding south: that it is
no longer boom-time like early 2000 was did not help Pentamedia any. A closer
look at the year gone by reveals nothing spectacular except the revenue slide.
The bulk of revenues came from exports, which accounted for 80% of the total.
Meanwhile the HR downsizing continued during the fiscal and the company eased
out 67 people. During the year the company also forged a tie up with the
Economic Board of Singapore for a feature length 2D-animation movie with 3D
backgrounds.
